FAQ

The DUH STUFF:
NO outside food, alcohol, weapons of any kind are admitted.
NO violence or disorderly behavior will be tolerated.

Failure to comply with any of the above will result in immediate removal from the event and the contacting of authorities, as needed.

 

Is the event outside? What if it rains?

The event is rain or shine. The space is IDEAL for a festival as it is completely open air but  partially covered with an overlapping roofing system. 

 

Can I purchase tickets/walk up on race day?
The gates will remain open until 4PM for pre purchased tickets and General Admission.
Unlimited Taster Admission will be available event day while supplies last.

 

Do I have to pay with cash or card on event day?
Admission at the gates is done through ticket purchase via the website. Click back to the homepage to purchase and bring your ticket or phone to the gates.

Those wishing to purchase pints will be able to use cash or card for payment.

I purchased the unlimited taster, how many times can I fill it?
How much can you drink and remain an appropriately functioning human? That is how much.

 

Can I bring my leashed pet?
ABSOLUTELY. You are responsible for your kid(s)/pets. 

All pets must be friendly, on leashes and you must pick up after them. Failure to do so may result in expulsion from the event. Kids, much like going to some of your favorite NC breweries, are welcome. 

 

What about admission for you/under 21/designated drivers? ABSOLUTELY! Anyone under 21 must be accompanied by a paying adult to enter. Designated drivers and non-drinkers over 21 are welcome as well. No alcohol may be consumed or purchased without the festival admission wristband. Food, non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.

 

I ran in/am running in  the race prior, do I need to pay for admission to the festival?

Registered runners in this year's Triad Brewsfest race receive FREE general admission. Your general admission check in occurs PRIOR to the start of the festival. Failure to get your admission wristband at the race may result in your needing to purchase admission.

 

I ran in the race prior and upgraded to the unlimited taster, how do I get my taster glass/admission? All runners will receive their general admission check in at the race. The unlimited taster check in will occur at the opening of the festival (11AM) at either of the main entrance gates. Festival unlimited taster cups WILL NOT be available at any other location or time. 

Didn't upgrade in advance? You can purchase at full price via the website.

 

Can I leave and come back?
ABSOLUTELY. Your festival admission is good for the entire day. DO NOT REMOVE YOUR entry wristband. 

 

I lost my taster cup!! My taster cup broke!!
Lost or stolen cups, you are out of luck. That cup is the designator to the breweries that you have purchased the unlimited taster. Take it with you ALL DAY LONG!

What is the schedule of events for the day?

The festival is open 11 AM to 5PM. Last admission at 4PM. Last call at 4:30PM.
